Phillip Yin is a reporter and anchor for Bloomberg Television. Based in Hong Kong, Yin covers news from the Asia-Pacific region including economic and business developments in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and other regional cities.

Prior to joining Bloomberg Television, Yin served as a senior portfolio strategy advisor at Unifund S.A, the Geneva-based investment company, where he provided institutional advisory services for an Asia-focused portfolio of private and public equity assets. Yin has also served in the Asia Portfolio program at Charles Schwab (based in Hong Kong) and prior to that, he served as a Hong Kong-based anchor/correspondent for CNBC Asia. Earlier in his career, Yin worked in Seattle, WA for CIBC Oppenheimer and UBS PaineWebber.

Yin received an International MBA from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and an undergraduate Business degree from the University of Washington.
